BIKE

Terrain: Crosing rivers, single tracks, paved roads, dirty roads.

Distance: About 240 km in 4 secctions.

Level: Medio

TREK

Terrain: Mountains, grasslands, jungle, rivers crossing, single tracks, beaches, paved roads, dirty roads.

Distance: About 100 km in 3 secctions.

Level: Medio, easy climbing, intermediate to high level navigation. Take care of your feet!

PADDLING

Location: Teams will paddle in ocean not open whater, close to the mangroves using the local boats called «Cayucos».

Distance: About 110 km in 3 secctions.

Level: Medio, teams will paddle in one boat per team, provided by the organization, intermediate to high level navigation, no dark zones

ROPES

Terrain: Rock Clifs, easy mountain climbing to reach the rappel, every team will have two ropes to rappel.

Distance: About 100 mt one or two secctions

Level: Medio, we will teach the allowed technique later.

WETHERS: In August you will find sunny days, rainy days, moderate wind, temperature betwin 15 and 35 degrees celcius, ocean wather about 20.

ROPES AND SAFETY

NARIÑO AIZPURÚA

He lives in the highlands of Panamá, more than 30 years of experience in adventure tourism, ropes techniques, and rescue. He and his team prepare the ropes secction for a great and safe experience during the race.

TBC, Adrian was the referee for AR Panamá 2022 and we will be honored to have him back again in AR Panama 24, his experience about adventure aracing around the world positions him as one of the best at his job.

CAYUCOS

ALBERTO HERNÁNDEZ (BETO)

He represents the Cayucos Panamá community, he have been envolved in the soprt for more than 15 years and now he have the flag of the Cayuco sport to promote it in the country. He is the water sections director for AR Panamá 24
