HIKING OR 4X4 JEEP TOUR – BARU VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK
Visit the highest point in the country, which also happens to be a volcano! At 3,474 meters high, the towering Baru Volcano is the 12th highest peak in Central America and the only place in the world where, on the clearest of days, you can see the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans at the same time. The Volcano and its surrounding land feature 5 different ecosystems thanks to a combination of rainforest highlands, as well as the byproducts of volcanic eruptions that occurred millions of years ago.
COFFEE TASTING AT COOFFEE FARMS
We’ve curated a coffee circuit including an eclectic group of farms open to visitors in Boquete, Volcan, and the greater Chiriqui region. Relatively close to each other, these farms offer a variety of exciting experiences, from fine dining to ziplining and farm tours.
EXPERIENCE THE GOLF OF CHIRIQUÍ
The Gulf of Chiriqui extends along Panama’s Pacific coast from the Costa Rican border to the Azuero Peninsula. It offers abundant vegetation, charming white-sand islands and one of the largest coral reefs in the Pacific, making it one of the best destinations for big-game fishing, diving and snorkeling.

VISIT PEDASI
People say that Pedasi is the best kept secret of the Panamanian Pacific as this place has everything a tourist seeks: friendly and affectionate people, beaches, surfing, islands, folklore, traditions and culture, mangroves, turtles, fishing, whales, countryside, typical meals, and much more. Pedasi still retains its typical colonial houses with high roofs and fresh porches supported by wooden columns and painted in bright colors where its people find the time to chat long with each other.
VISIT ISLA IGUANA
The Iguana Island Wildlife Refuge has 40 hectares of reefs surrounding the island and protects a colony of approximately 5,000 frigates. Among the activities you can do here are: hiking, whale watching (humpback whale), diving, snorkeling, bird watching, camping, swimming, picnicking and sport fishing.
SURFING AT PLAYA VENAO
The jungle and ocean merge into Playa Venao, a picturesque village located on the Pacific coast of the Azuero Peninsula. In this attractive destination there are black sand beaches and top-notch surfing. Surfing is the main attraction in Playa Venao, the orientation of the beach is perfect for the waves of the south. But you can also have a good time even if you don’t like surfing: deep sea fishing, snorkeling, diving, rowing and enjoy whale watching.

DIVING AT COIBA NATIONAL PARK
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, Coiba Marine Park is a marine reserve located off of Panama’s Pacific coast in the Gulf of Chiriquí. Once a penal colony, access to the island was historically limited, allowing much of the area’s natural resources to survive untouched. Today, the marine park boasts some of the greatest biological diversity in the world. Coiba is a world-class diving destination on the same corridor as the Galapagos Islands, offering access to Bahia Damas Reef, the largest reef on the western coastline of the American continent. A dive there means you’ll have the chance to see manta rays, whales and hammerhead sharks. If you come between December and April, you might just see some of the biggest fish in the ocean, the whale sharks!
SURF AT SANTA CATALINA
Once a small fishing village with relatively few visitors, Santa Catalina has become a world-renowned surfing destination for pros and beginners alike. Located on the Pacific coast of the Veraguas province, Santa Catalina is the place to be if you like to surf—or, if you’ve ever wanted to learn. Just keep in mind, the village is still minimally developed, with just a handful of restaurants and accommodations, as well as a grocery store and surfing schools.
HIKING AT SANTA FE NATIONAL PARK
In the province of Veraguas, in the majestic central region of Panama, you’ll find Santa Fe National Park. Known for its abundance of waterfalls and 700 square kilometers of rainforest, the park is also home to hundreds of species of birds, butterflies and orchids. Santa Fe National Park surrounds the historic and picturesque town of Santa Fe, which is also worth a visit. Inside the park, you’ll have the chance to hike to many of the park’s 50 waterfalls, with trails ranging from quick and easy, to day-long adventures.
